Please join us to congratulate our graduate students who won basic research awards at the 2015 Mid-Atlantic Young Investigators Fo rum, held at the Renaissance Hotel in Baltimore, MD. This event allows trainees from Mid-Atlantic research programs to present their basic and clinical research on kidney diseases.
- Eugene Lin (1st place) (mentors: Ariel Gomez, Maria Luisa Sequeira Lopez)
- Yan Hu (5th place) (mentors: Maria Luisa Sequeira Lopez, Ariel Gomez)
Regional winners are invited to participate and compete for national accolades based on original research presented at the forum. Eugene and Yan will move on to compete against other regional winners in the National Young Investigators Forum in Dallas, Texas, on March 25, during the NKF Spring Clinical Meetings. The National Young Investigators Forum provides an outstanding forum for future leaders in nephrology to interact with investigators who have demonstrated track records in research, as well as with their peers from around the country. The forum provides continuity and recognition for the fellows and their mentors at a national level.
Please congratulate these young researchers! We are very proud of them!
