[Pinn Hall Conf. Ctr, Rm 2ABC] Fern Hauck. MD, Department of Family Medicine, and Erica Uhlmann, MPH, Medical Case Manager for the International Rescue Committee (IRC), will speak to our group about UVA’s International Family Medicine Clinic, including UVA’s partnership with the IRC to provide primary health care to all newly arrived refugees in Charlottesville.
Dr. Hauck will address issues specific to women refugees, as well as some of the research UVA students have done over the years. Ms. Uhlmann will describe the work of the IRC, including the services provided to refugees and recent stats on refugees’ countries of origin.
