Research Interest:

Everyday, billions of cells are cleared in order to maintain tissue homeostasis. When this system shifts out of balance, numerous pathologies arise due to uncleared corpses and aberrant inflammation.  In order to better understand how this process occurs in vivo, we are building tools to track both cell death and cell clearance during development as well as disease.
