Research Interest:

Using murine cytomegalovirus (MCMV) as a model pathogen for natural viral infection, our lab has developed a system to probe natural killer (NK) cell-dependent viral control and its effects on immunity. Within this framework, we have become interested in the regulation of dendritic cell (DC) subsets during inflammation. Work being performed focuses on the effects of various inflammatory stimuli and NK cell viral control on splenic DC subsets to better define the behavior of these populations during inflammation and the factors determining their fate during infection.
