Research Interest:

Rhinovirus infection is a major cause of the common cold, and an important trigger of allergic asthma exacerbations. My research is focused on the roles of CD4+ T cells in rhinovirus immunity. Currently, I am characterizing the activation, expansion, and phenotypic changes in rhinovirus- and allergen-specific T cells during experimental infection in both healthy and allergic asthmatic human subjects, as well as assessing the effects of several therapeutic interventions on the T cell compartment.
