Zimring comes to UVA

This Spring, James Zimring, MD, PhD, joined the Resident Faculty of the Carter Immunology Center. Dr. Zimring came to us from BloodworksNW Research Institute in Seattle where he was the Chief Scientific Officer, as well as Professor, Department of Laboratory Medicine, University of Washington. Zimring’s primary research is at the interface of immunology and transfusion medicine.
