Criss Named Pinn Scholar

December 9, 2017 by

CIC member, Alison Criss was named one of the four Pinn Scholars for 2017-2018. The Pinn Scholars program was designed to support and recognize our mid-level faculty and is named in honor of Dr. Vivian Pinn, a graduate of the UVA School of Medicine Class on 1967, founding director of the Office of Research on Women’s Health at the NIH and a tireless advocate for open access to health care and for careers in biomedical sciences and research. These faculty were chosen on the basis of their past research accomplishments, contributions to the School of Medicine, and a proposed research project to take their work in novel directions.

Congratulations, Alison!
