Objectives:

  1. To review the major classes of pathogenic E. coli
  2. To dissect the various strategies that enterohemorrhagic E. coli uses to colonize human, animal, and plant cells
  3. To review new adherence factors in enteroaggregative and enterotoxigenic E. coli and discuss their use as delivery systems to the immune system of multi-pathogen epitopes​
