 Objectives:

1] Give an overview of findings from the genetic studies of hereditary and sporadic nephrotic syndrome

2] Describe recent findings from both hereditary and sporadic nephrotic syndrome

3] Discuss translational potentials of some of the findings

4] Describe constraints to translation of findings to clinical care and possible solutions.
